3D Versions of 2D Characters

In Great Job! on June 16, 2010 at 8:16 pm

It appears there are some real hard-core old school nintendo fans out there. These sweet 3D pics are from cezkid at deviant art. It was surprising to see a fully operational Zelda II game in 3D, hopefully this new trend catches on. People might like Playstation and Xbox but Nintendo has some pretty die hard fans. Good job cezkid!

Parent Fail

In Great Job!, Stupid on June 16, 2010 at 8:16 pm

This is one of the worst fails I’ve ever seen. The picture has been on the internet for a while now and every one has always paid attention to the man getting hit by the baseball bat. Now people are starting to notice something else.. a PARENT FAIL! Just take a look at the baby and you will see what i mean. Sounds like a new niche has been born.

Super Guido Bros!

In Funny, Great Job! on June 16, 2010 at 8:14 pm

Ever wonder what it would be like if Mario, Luigi, and gang lived in Jersey Shore? Wonder no more. Check out Mario and Luigi’s fake tanned faces party guido style. It isn’t easy when Wario is always shrooming out and throwing spike shells but Mario and Luigi always know what to do. Check out the video below for yourself.

BP Says You Are Responsible For Your Spills

In Great Job!, Stupid on June 14, 2010 at 5:13 pm

Here is an ironic sign at a British Petroleum pump telling others that you are responsible for your own spills. They should listen to their own advice, especially when attempting to drill 40,000 ft deep below a mile of water. The Russians have successfully drilled 30-40k ft under ground but that’s from ground level. BP tried to do the same thing but about a mile under water. Epic humanity fail since they killed off super Mario.

Hamster Fighting Machines

In Great Job!, Robotcalypse, Stupid on June 14, 2010 at 5:13 pm

Wonder what it would be like to have your own hamster fighting machine? Thankfully some one decided to turn their own hamster into a fighting machine. Eventually hamster fighting machines and self-assembling-flying-robots will come together in the robotcalypse.  The picture below was posted on moarrawr.com the other day. Supposedly its photo-shopped but you be the judge. If its real then my question is – why do people take the internet seriously?

Meanwhile, in Japan…

In Funny, Great Job!, Stupid on June 12, 2010 at 8:40 pm

Why is Japan so weird? The guys in this pic (source) are just hanging out at the park. The size of the hair must indicate status in their Black Shadow gang. The guy in the middle looks particularly sharp with that foot high hairstyle. In reality they are probably just a bunch of fanboys of some greaser manga, hanging out in Japan’s costume district.

Is This An Actual PC Game Screen Shot?!?

In Funny, Great Job! on June 12, 2010 at 10:06 am

I used to think N64 was as good as it would ever get. Thankfully I was wrong. This picture is great, it reminds me of good old times when gaming wasn’t so advanced. We’ve come a long way from there but it wasn’t even long ago! Gaming will be unbelievable in the near future. Sooner or later in game graffics will be better than cgi cut scenes. We will be wearing 3d glasses while a camera reads our facial expression to display on the avatar. Then, eventually, we will all convert to a virtual world.

Air Guitar While Drumming

In Funny, Great Job! on June 11, 2010 at 10:36 pm

This guy is either living his dream or just finished chillin in the back with crack face. He blows away the crowd with his awesome dance skills. He even plays the air guitar and drums at the same time (skip to 2:55). This is the most extreme drummer showmanship I’ve seen. The band disappears into the background when this guy plays.

Can Fat Girls Defy Gravity?

In Funny, Great Job! on June 10, 2010 at 7:32 pm

Big Julissa does a reverse belly flop off of the park swing set. At 6:10 she starts to swing and build up momentum. Thankfully there was a good Samaritan in the area that was happy to lend a hand. Once she got as high as the swings could go: lift off. Flying forward off the seat she spins 90 degrees. After a short bit of air time she slams into the ground and slides home.

Zelda II in 3D! And its a FPS!

In Great Job! on June 10, 2010 at 3:38 am

Time to explore Hyrule in a whole new dimension! A new programmer just remade the beginning of Zelda II in 3d. The best part about it is that its also a first person shooter, like counter-strike. This project was done by MikeJ at 3dnes.blogspot.com/. He says that “This is the result of … learning programming for the first time and a labor of love making this game in 3D.” All I can say is: good first try with programming!
